Data Entry Payroll Assistant
Trinity Engineering LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Payroll Assistant to support the Finance and Human Resources departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, processing payroll-related data, ensuring timely and accurate payroll administration, and assisting with general administrative duties.
The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent attention to detail, maintains confidentiality, and possesses strong organizational and computer skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain employee payroll information accurately.
- Assist in preparing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll.
- Verify employee attendance, timesheets, overtime, leave records, and deductions before payroll processing.
- Maintain confidential employee records and payroll documentation.
- Ensure payroll data is accurate and free from errors.
- Assist in processing employee benefits, allowances, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Generate payroll reports for management when required.
- Support the Finance department with payroll reconciliation and record keeping.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly.
- File payroll documents and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Assist with onboarding documentation for new employees.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable payroll regulations.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, OND, HND, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in payroll administration, data entry, accounting, or office administration is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong computer and administrative skills are encouraged to apply.
